- 500 g flour
 - 200 g  sugar
 - 1 pack vanilla sugar (ca 8g, alternatively 1 tsp vanilla extract)
 - 2 packs baking powder (30g total)
 - 3 eggs
 - 250 butter, softened and cubed
 - 400 ml Fanta or alternative orange lemonade
 
Icing
- 250 g icing sugar
 - 60 ml Fanta or alternative orange lemonade
 - Optional: sprinkles for decoration
 
 
Prepare the dough: Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix with an electric mixer for 3-4 minutes until fully combined and sugar is dissolved. It should reach a silky texture
Bake the cake: Lay parchment paper on a baking tray and pour to batter inside. Flatten the dough. It's a thin cake but will puff up in the oven. Bake it for 20-25 minutes at 180 degrees celsius (356 fahrenheit), check it's ready with a toothpick. It should be lightly golden
Icing & decorate: Once the cake has cooled, combine icing sugar and Fanta. Spread it all over the cake and add sprinkles for decoration. Let it harden and enjoy!
